Haul: Them sales!

Now of course at the end of the year and the beginning of the next shopping is always on the cards! With sales left, right and centre and christmas money burning a hole in my pocket, well purse, it is the perfect excuse to shop.
Actually this year I've been pretty good and my bank account hasn't suffered as badly as I thought it would but there was enough to put into a little post for you guys!
Of course I hit Topshop, if you haven't guessed by the fact most of my outfits are mostly Topshop based things, it is my favourite! I didn't actually think that much of the sale this year but I did buy a few things which I think I've lived in ever since shah

The first two things I bought I'd had my eye on for a while but the price tag was to much for me so I grabbed them once I saw they were in the sale..

The first thing I ran for was this amazing denim jacket with a fur lining inside! I live in my denim jacket but its to cold for it right now so this one is perfect as it will keep me nice and cosy in the freezing cold!

The next was this amazing black leather and suede backpack. I'm always wearing a backpack, ignoring some of the guys saying there child's bags haha
I found this lovely little black high neck scuba dress. I love the scuba material and it looks very classy on and I like the fact you can dress it up or down.

Lastly from Topshop I bought this vintage style shirt. I have a little obsession with tops like this at the moment so I grabbed this one.. Couldn't leave without it hahah

Out of all the other sales I didn't buy or find anything else that I feel in love with but I did find this little black velvet dress from ASOS from the reclaimed vintage bit. I've been after a black velvet dress for god knows how long and I liked the fact this one was a little different.

So that was everything I bought from the sales this/last year. Did you get anything nice?

Hope you enjoyed

January Lips

When It comes to make up I am all about the lips. A simple cat eye flick and a good lip colour is my standard look and I will 99.9% of the time be wearing something along them lines.
This month there has been one particular colour that I have been loving at the moment which i don't really know how to describe. A rosy pink with a slight brown/red undertone? I don't even know haha

My amazing best friend was to good to me this christmas and bought me a beautiful YSL rouge volute shine lipstick! I have been lustreing over one for god knows how long so I got a little over exited when I opened it hahaha
The colour is number 7 rose infinite and as the name suggests it is a gorgeous rose colour that has a slight berry undertone.

In the Christmas sales I bought my first ever lip liner. That might come as a shock but i've never felt the need for one but I saw this urban decay one and couldn't leave it. It looks lovely underneath the YSL lipstick but I have been wearing it a lot on its own. The colour is again just a rose pink with a slight brown undertone and I'm a little obsessed with the look of it on its own.
Lastly a more affordable choice this is revlon lip butter in the colour pink truffle. I love the revlon lip butters for the colour pay off but how moistening they are on the lips. They are definitely a winter must have. I've never seen this one before for some random reason but Superdrug at the lip butters on sale for five pounds and I once spotted this one I couldn't leave it!

Looking at the photos now they don't look different at all but I swear in person they are (kind of haha)

A wake up call?

So as you probably have seen and noticed, managing my time better and not neglecting my blog really didn't worked out. I use the excuse of college work, university applying, working and everything else, which yes in a way is partly to blame but there has been times when I could have written a post or took some photos but I just haven't.
Why? I don't really know. Everything that I have been writing recently or that I have taken a photo of just hasn't been good enough, in my eyes, so I never ended up posting them and I was deleting photos straight away.

My mum came home the other day with a bunch of flowers for me. No one has ever got me flowers before, even if they were from my mum, so I was touched. Its so simple to think that something so beautiful and natural like some flowers can just brighten you up. I think that's when I realised I perhaps hadn't been myself recently and oddly they were a bit of a wake up call.. how ever weird and random that sounds haha

Where 2014 went I have no idea but 2015 is here and well making the most of it is on my list of priorities. I sent of my application for university a couple of weeks ago and have already received two interview and a offer to the university I wanted to go to. *EEEKKK*

That also made me realise that once I put my head in the game I can do what I want to do. So getting away all this bad negativity at the moment is also on my list of priority's! I'm not going to make a promise that there will be a blog post everyday like I was doing but I suppose that little break as made me realise and get back into blogging as it was something that I loved to do and made me happy! so yeah I think that's everything I wanted to say.
Thanks for the patients and hopefully (fingers crossed) the next post won't be so long away,

Outfit: Winter Ready

Ten days since I wrote my last post, wow! Again like always college, university application, work and then also having a life has got the better of me so I have neglect my blog a little! At the moment I shall be(hopefully) writing a couple of posts a week and managing my time a lot better.

So recently It has got VERY cold in England. I'm a naturally cold person anyways and its only going to get colder. Finding a winter jacket that's going to keep me all cosy, with a hood for when it rains and one that I actually like is always a difficult one. I don't think I've very hard a real winter jacket so I was making it my mission this year to find one that I loved and that I can wear with pretty much everything!

(Photos aren't the best..) Jacket: Miss Selfridge Dress: Topshop(old) Shoes: Topshop (sale)

Now I do feel like a little lion with this Parka (but I mean come on who doesn't want to be a lion?). This jacket is from Miss Selfridge, I decided I wanted a khaki green coat which I know is pretty common but in my wardrobe is very different but still goes with everything!

Inside has a lush wool lining to keep me nice a warm and of course the faux fur on the hood is just amazing! I'm not normally a huge fan of faux fur but I've seen it everywhere at the moment and I kind of like it.

Anyways rambling as normal! Have you found your winter jacket?

Outfit: Cute and Girly!

The other day I was feeling something a little more 'girly' then other things I have been wearing recently. I pulled out this ASOS dress with blue deers/fawns on which I wore a lot through the summer, I haven't gave it as much love lately so I was exited to wear it again the other day.

The dress is a lovely smock dress! very big and comfy, it is a very thick material and even though it is so big it fits really nicely and is very flattering! I kept things simple as always with just black tights, black boots and a black leather jacket!

Outfit: Old favorites!

So when the seasons change, bring out old favourites from the years before is great! I'm a student so getting the use out of everything I buy is very important. I bought this little skirt last year from Topshop.

I remember buying it as I absolutely loved it but didn't really think I would get much wear out of it, turns out I pretty much wore it all last winter so I was very exited when I was able to wear it again the other day because it was so cold outside! It is a woollen mini skirt which again isn't something I would normally pick out but I love the purples in it and the tartan pattern.

I decided just to play it safe with what to wear with it so I just wore a Topshop black scalloped top and black Primark boots. This skirt can be dressed up or down though and I will be wearing it a lot again this year!

Outfit: Feeling like a grown up

This little outfit is a typical monochrome look for me which I just love! I like this outfit, feels very sophisticated and grown up hahah

This little dress is from Urban Outfitters from a little while ago that I managed to grab in the sale! I love it with the gingham print and of course the collar, I do love a good collar, but the only problem with this dress is that it is sleeve less so wearing it right now is a little tricky as its got very cold out.

I just placed this long sleeved black crop top over it just to keep myself a little more cosy and warm, I really like the look of it and thing it just looks part of the dress. Lastly I just placed my black primark boots on just keeping it simple and of course black tights.
