Simple is always better

When it comes to Jewellery I do believe that simple things are always better! Over the past couple of months I've been obsessed with this little rope pendent necklace.. I bought the little piece on my recent holiday at a little market stall for literally a euro or something crazy like that.

 

The necklace is so sweet and simple with a small four leaf clover pendent.The rope is actually a dark brown colour rather then black which I actually really like, it gives it a more natural handmade look (I think it is handmade but I cant be certain)

I prefer to wear the necklace like the picture above, almost as a chocker but hanging a little lower.The length can be changed though which is great for layering with other dainty necklaces. I think I've worn it with pretty much all my outfits lately and I have seen many like it on the high street so if your going on holiday or to a little market then you'd be crazy not to buy something so cute, cheap and simple for your self!!

Odd things you've always wanted

Hey guys, so if you live in the UK like myself then you will know when beauty/fashion bloggers and youtubers talk about beauty products that we cant get over in the UK that look amazing or very interesting then it can be a little bit of a downer haha

One product that I've had a little bit of a thing about trying has got to be the EOS lipbalms! I think a lot of the interest has simply got to come from the little egg shape the lip balm comes in.. of course for a long time you couldn't get them in the UK but I have now found a few different places that sell them woo!

I've tried two different flavours/kinds now, the blueberry and the raspberry!

 

 

EOS Lipbalms

 

 

 I bought both of mine from Urban outfitters but they also sell them at Selfridges and Topshop! The actually lipbalms are pretty great! They are moisturising and great for throwing in your bag for the day ahead, just don't do a silly thing like me and put one on when you have a dark purple lipstick on.. you can imagine what happened haha  

 

I'm very exited to keep using these and I'm pretty sure I'll be buying and trying more in the future!

well hey there

First official blog post from Plain Leah Jayne... after a lot of thought of the name, what I'm going to write and talk about and everything else that comes with writing a blog the one thing I never took into consideration was the first post.

I think a introduction is the way to go because my mind has decided to turn to jelly, so my name is Leah Jayne (Jayne actually being my middle name). I'm 17 and from north Cumbria living in the middle of no where although I have travelled and lived in a few different places.

Like most Teenagers now a days Fashion and beauty are pretty much my only interest and love at the moment, I'm currently studying Health and social care at college but I wouldn't exactly say I love it from wanting to be a nurse to a teacher and now wanting to do a university course in fashion communication? not exactly near each other on job hunting/what you want to be scale! Although it definitely bets wanting to be a magician like I did for a long time before reality happened!

The idea of putting my interests into a blog sort of makes sense even if there's only two people reading it which will also probably be the reality but hey ho!

So yeah I guess that's the first ramble over and oooooo also Hey!

P.S. off to get my self a nice cup.. think Its needed after the worry of this upload!
